Ugo S. Antonini

Ugo Antonini joined Wayne Hose on September 1, 1951.  He served as Assistant Chief Driver for four years, teaching many of us to become safe drivers and efficient pump operators.  Ugo also worked on the restoration of 18-750 returning it to it's original status and was an instrumental part in erecting the Memorial Monument using the granite stones received from Bear mountain.  He is also known for giving his expert advice in the cook tent and other working committees.  Ugo was the third recipient of the "General's Award" which was given for unselfishness and dedication to the fire company.  Below are some pictures from his 50 years of service luncheon which was held at the main fire house on Sunday, July 29, 2001.
